Greetings Pack Families,

What an awesome Pinewood Derby! Congratulations to all of the boys and a big THANK YOU to the Committee (Nancy Riggs, Rob Buck, Susan Dell'Angelo) for making it happen. Thank you to everyone who pitched in to make our Pit Crew such a success and to Dan Meyer for manning the computer and Gary Crisci for manning the ladder. Have you seen "Are You Tougher Than a Boy Scout?"

The new reality TV show airs each Monday at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central time on the National Geographic Channel through April 8. We encourage you to have your family watch the show it is a great family experience and the messages of scouting are reinforced over and over.

The "Are You Tougher Than a Boy Scout?" Web page (www.toughscout.com) features show information and an opportunity for you to share Scouting photos through social media.

Arrow of Light Pack Meeting - Monday, 4/8/2013 6:30pm-7:30pm

This is a very special Pack Meeting where we celebrate the bridging over of our Webelos II to Boy Scouts. We have special Boy Scout Guests and presentations. Please mark your calendar and make every effort to support our Webelos II as they continue their awesome journey. We will confirm location as the event approaches.

Sound Tigers (Hockey) Scout Night - Saturday, 4/20/2013 7:00 p.m.

Scatacook District Pinewood Derby - Saturday, 5/4/2013

All Pack 137 first and second place winners per rank and best design per rank are eligible to compete in this district-wide Pinewood Derby at the Walnut Hill Community Church, Bethel, CT. Additional information is here.

Spring Round Up (MHHS Cafetorium) -- Tuesday, 5/14/2013 7-8 pm

This is our Spring Recruitment effort. We need all hands on deck to put our best foot forward and represent our Pack. This is a joint event with Pack 142. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend - parents and scouts. Spread the word and have your friends, their brothers, cousins and their friends come on out and sign up! We are looking for Parent Volunteers to help run this event - please contact Mrs. Grauert if you want to pitch in.
